Franz Stöckler built this house and ran a café-restaurant as early as 1918. Karl Bayer and later his wife Berta continued to run the restaurant and bar.

In the mid-1930s, Johann Knoll acquired this business.

The post office was located on the ground floor until 1963.

The café was on the first floor.

After that, the café was moved to the ground floor and guest rooms were built.

When Johann Knoll retired, his son Franz continued to run the bed and breakfast.

In 2003, the Denk family acquired the house.

It was rebuilt and renovated in a modern style over a period of two years of planning and a year of construction.

The ceremonial opening of the Cafe Rossini took place on July 12, 2007.
